Privacy notice
Short version: the checker and the letter builder run in your browser. We do not receive your trip details or the text of your letter.
Information you enter into the tools
The rights checker asks about your disruption, route regions, carrier and delay. The claim letter builder asks for an airline name, dates and route details. Both run entirely in your browser using JavaScript.
- Your answers are not transmitted to us or to any third party.
- They are not written to a server, a database, or an analytics service.
- They are not stored in a cookie or in browser storage that persists between visits.
When you move from the homepage checker to the full checker, your three trip selections are passed in the part of the URL after the # symbol. That part of a URL is never sent to a web server, and it is removed from the address bar immediately after the page reads it.
Your claim letter
The letter text is assembled in your browser's memory. If you download it, the file is created locally by your browser. If you copy it, it goes to your clipboard and nowhere else. Sending the letter to an airline is an action you take yourself, outside this site.
Because no letter data reaches us, we cannot recover a letter you have lost. Please save your own copy.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or analytics trackers. Fonts, stylesheets and scripts are served from our own domain rather than from third-party CDNs, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to an unrelated company.
Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested — typically the IP address, the requested path, a timestamp and the browser's user-agent string. This is used to serve the site reliably and to defend against abuse. Retention is controlled by the hosting provider's standard configuration.

Guides link to official sources such as the European Commission's Your Europe portal, EUR-Lex and the UK Civil Aviation Authority. Once you follow one of those links, the destination site's own privacy policy applies. We do not control those sites.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data through this website's tools, there is generally nothing for us to export, correct or delete on your behalf. If you have contacted us by email, you can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.
Children
This site is intended for adults dealing with a disrupted flight. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this notice changes, the review date above will be updated. Material changes will be described on this page rather than made silently.
